The Head of Marketing will lead the marketing and trade-marketing division. They will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing a team of marketing professionals, and overseeing the profit and loss (PL) of brand initiatives. **Principal Objectives**:
The Head of Marketing is responsible for the marketing strategy, the success of marketing plans, and the company's position in the markets: - Defines the strategic axes of development of new products and management of existing products (marketing innovation and operational marketing)
- Sets development priorities
- Determines quantitative and qualitative objectives
- Supervise the launch of new products
- Elaborate with his team the marketing plans and all necessary actions in the short, medium and long term on the existing brands
- Develops the multimedia communication policy taking into account the constantly changing media environment and the shift to digital
- Responsible for the choice of the different agencies with responsibility for budgets
- Manage the team that he animates, organizes, trains and moves
- Represent the company in the Toy Industry forums and in Toy Fairs and managing the relationship with retailers, and other partners as Licensee companies **Specific Responsibilities**: - Development of Marketing Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and support the sales cycle.
- Team Management: Supervise and guide a team of marketing professionals, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and evaluating performance.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the team to create engaging and high-quality content, including blog posts, e-books, videos, infographics, and more, to support marketing objectives.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, identify market trends, and provide regular reports on key marketing metrics.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and development teams to ensure effective alignment of marketing strategies and messaging with overall business objectives.
- Brand PL Management: Oversee the (PL) of brand initiatives, including budget allocation, cost management, and revenue optimization, to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
- Choice of the different agencies with responsibility for budgets.
- EG Development:
Develop the EG brands growth strategy.
- Attract, train and retain talents within the organization. Promoting team work, collaboration through a challenging and learning environment. Drive employee engagement and development, performance reviews, career path and corporate social responsibilities. **How will you fit into the team?** The Head of Marketing reports to the General Manager Iberia, Italy Greece, and leads the local marketing team. **What are your skills and experience?**
- Degree Educated with marketing/business qualifications (preferably). Marketing qualifications could include Degree, Diploma in Marketing (DipM) or other recognised marketing qualifications.
- More than 10 years relevant experience - ideally in the Toy Industry
- Leadership skills: ability to keep employees motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions for employees
- Effective time management: working with employees, customers and management. Time management is essential to make sure everything gets done
- Budgeting: experience creating, keeping and maintaining a budget, as well as make projections based on previous expenditures
- Decision-making skills: Whether it is dealing with employees, customers, top executives or vendors - ability to make decisions that affect the company. Having the ability to make hard and fast decisions is crucial to success
- Speaking and Writing: strong communication skills. This might be in negotiations with contractors, in front of a group of employees, or in a meeting with other management members; writing and presenting reports and recommendations. Great verbal communication and writing skills will help in any of these scenarios
