ppAs Production Planner Call Off your mission is to make sure the assigned assembly lines deliver finished products, meeting customer request dates.
/ppYou are part of the flow team and will report to the Manufacturing Team Leader.
/ppYou will: /pullireceive customer order requirements and develop production schedules to meet on time delivery while supporting plant goals regarding forecasted lead times and delivery performances /liliprovide constant updates on production scheduling through planning dates maintenance or direct communication to customer contacts to plan order shipment and to ensure that customers are up to date with the status of the order through the manufacturing process /lilisupport assigned assembly lines taking active coordination and leadership role to meet the output targets, providing the best possible mix of machines, supply chain support and all information needed /liliguarantee parts availability managing components' replenishment, delivery timetables, pushing suppliers to keep agreed delivery dates and supply conditions in terms of quantities, packing, etc.
/lilioversee and track products through the complete supply chain, from supplier to transport, 3PLs, reception, till the final assembly destination, to make sure every machine planned can be produced as scheduled /lilisolve day by day issues that may come up in a naturally changing environment, adapting to situations but always making continuous improvements /liliperform data analysis and generate summary reports on delivery performance, missed shipments, lead times' evolution, stock levels, and other KPIs,



being active part in creating new tools for continuous improvement /liliassist the Foreman Team in planning labor requirements based on output targets /lilirepresent your department in Project Team Meetings for assigned projects /lilicollaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth: interface with marketing to provide updated and reliable lead times to customers, with purchasing to give best possible material requirements forecasts to suppliers, with engineering for the phase in/out, etc.
/li /ulh3To succeed, you will need /h3pbExperience requirements /b /pp1 - 2 years' experience in a lean oriented manufacturing setting is considered a plus /ppbEducational requirements /b /ppDegree in Engineering or Economics or combination of education and equivalent work experience.
/ppbKnowledge and personality requirements /b /pulliStrong analytical skills with a scientific method of problem solving /liliAbility to meet deadlines, excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills /liliExperience with common IT tools /liliPermanent contract /liliJob classification: White-Collar employee, Level C3, National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry.
