ph3Senior Solutions Architect (EDW Enterprise Data Warehouse Migrations) /h3 pIn this role, you will drive large-scale migration of legacy EDW workloads to the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform across EMEA.
You will partner with leadership, product, and account teams to design adoption strategies, technical guardrails, and actionable steps that help customers achieve their business objectives.
You'll develop scalable migration programs, tools, and best practices, while serving as a tier-3 escalation point for complex deployments.
You will also mentor regional teams and contribute thought leadership through whitepapers, blogs, and public talks.
This role combines deep data architecture expertise with hands-on guidance to modernize data workloads at scale.




/p ul liLead regional migration strategy and adoption efforts for large-scale EDW migrations /li liArchitect and refine programmatic migration assets and technical guides /li liBuild and guide automated assessment tools from customer engagements /li liServe as tier-3 technical escalation for complex migrations in must-win accounts /li liEnable and scale regional presales migration practice through mentoring /li liBridge field insights with Product Management and Engineering /li liAuthor technical content and present at forums to position Databricks for enterprise database modernization /li liHandle the most complex technical challenges as escalation point for mission-critical environments /li li8+ years in customer-facing pre-sales, architect, or consulting roles /li liDeep understanding of legacy EDW architectures (Teradata, Netezza, Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, Exadata) and modernization pathways /li liProven mastery of EDW-to-Data Intelligence Platform migrations /li liHands-on experience with Lakehouse architecture and Spark, Python, SQL /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills /li liPublic cloud architecture experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) /li liExperience collaborating with Professional Services and Global Systems Integrators to standardize migration delivery methods /li /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
