The role is focused on expediting orders by closely monitoring suppliers' manufacturing progress, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and supporting project execution.
/p pThe Expediter collaborates with Project Teams, Quality, Logistics, and Suppliers, and reports directly to the Expediting Department Manager.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage assigned purchase orders, ensuring their execution in compliance with contractual conditions and in coordination with the Expediting Department Manager /li liMonitor suppliers' progress remotely, ensure timely submission of progress reports, track delivery schedules, and update the company management systems /li liOrganize and attend suppliers' workshop visits to verify manufacturing progress /li liPrepare and issue visit and expediting reports, identifying delays, non-conformities, or critical issues, and propose corrective actions to prevent schedule impacts /li liProvide regular updates and feedback to Project Teams and Management on suppliers' performance and progress /li liPromptly report any critical issues or production deviations to Project Managers /li liFacilitate the exchange of missing or incomplete technical and commercial information between internal departments and suppliers /li liCoordinate with the Quality Engineer to properly plan and execute inspection and testing activities /li liVerify temporary packaging and quantities to be shipped /li liCoordinate material pick-up dates with the Logistics Department /li liAssist Customer Expediters during suppliers' workshop visits /li liCoordinate incoming materials with the Material Manager and warehouse /li liEnsure that subcontracted materials are delivered to suppliers on time /li /ul h3What we ask for /h3 ul liHigh School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering /li liExperience in a similar role /li liBasic knowledge of materials and their properties used in engineering and manufacturing processes /li liStrong planning and reporting skills, including the ability to schedule expediting activities and prepare effective reports /li liKnowledge of logistics processes, including materials handling, packaging, shipping, Incoterms, international documentation, customs and insurance regulations /li liKnowledge of CRM and/or ERP systems (e.g. SAP), MS Office, and in-house developed software /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liAbility to read and understand technical drawings and datasheets for plants or machinery /li liKnowledge of packaging and transportation systems for domestic and international deliveries /li liKnowledge of quality requirements for mechanical and electrical components (e.g. ASME, Eurocodes, PED, ISO) /li liKnowledge of welding disciplines and painting systems is considered a plus /li liGood command of English, both written and spoken /li liWillingness to travel /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liThe opportunity to contribute to UpstreamTAT - Operations activities with a direct impact on business performance /li liA dynamic and international environment where ideas are valued and innovation is encouraged /li liContinuous learning opportunities through training, exposure to new technologies and cross-functional collaboration.
