/p h3WHAT WE LOOK FOR /h3 ul liDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field /li li2+ years of experience as a System Administrator in a complex IT environment (space, aerospace, telecommunications, or similar)



/li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liStrong expertise in Windows Linux system administration /li liKnowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware) /li liFamiliarity with networking concepts (routing, switch configuration, firewall, VPNs) /li liProficiency in automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible) /li liProblem-solving mindset and a proactive approach /li liAbility to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment /li liStrong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate across departments /li liFluency in English (written and spoken) /li liEligibility for security clearance /li liWillingness to travel within Europe when required /li /ul h3WHAT YOU WILL DO /h3 pAs a System Administrator, you will be part of the Galileo Ground Segment, a critical component of the Galileo satellite navigation system.
Your role will involve configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the ground segment infrastructure while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure high availability and reliability of Galileo services.
/p ul liInstalling, configuring, and maintaining complex IT infrastructures, including servers, networking devices, cryptographic systems,



and key IT services /li liSetting up and managing containerized services /li liEnsuring the integration and testing of new software and hardware releases before deployment /li liAssisting in penetration tests and IT security audits to evaluate system robustness and compliance /li liSupporting the delivery of Galileo's navigation message, ensuring the infrastructure meets strict operational standards /li /ul h3Operations Continuous Improvement /h3 ul liParticipating in anomaly investigations, change control boards, and system migrations to enhance system performance /li liCollaborating with ESA, EUSPA, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with mission requirements and industry best practices /li /ul pThis is a unique opportunity to work in a high-tech, mission-critical environment, contributing to one of Europe's most strategic space programs.
