/ppWe are looking for a Navigation System IVV Engineer.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the design of processes for the assembly, integration, and verification of satellite navigation systems.
The role will be integral to aiding the AIV Design Planning Engineer in defining and executing test strategies and qualification campaigns.
The work will be based in Rome, with occasional travel for on-site testing or customer meetings.
/ppYou will closely collaborate with the TASI System Navigation team and may also explore opportunities for temporary relocations outside Italy.
/ph3Task description /h3ulliSupport the System Navigation Team in defining System Integration and Verification activities for Navigation Programs.
/liliContribute to defining the Project's test strategy and Qualification campaign.
/liliDefine the System assembly, Integration, and Verification Plan.
/liliDefine the Operational Validation Plan.
/liliPrepare Review Verification Matrixes adhering to applicable standards (e.g., ECSS for ESA and EUSPA).
/liliCreate System Test Cases for Ground and Space Segments, including compatibility tests campaign definition.
/liliSupport the definition of System Test Tools, providing requirement specifications for tools needed in the AIV Plan and Test Cases.




/liliPrepare and define detailed Test Procedures.
/liliConduct test execution, including planning, schedule definition, collaboration with other partners, and leading Test Readiness Reviews, Post Test Reviews, final Test Review Boards.
/liliPrepare inputs and collect output data from test execution.
/liliConduct Test Data analysis and Prepare Test Reports.
/liliContribute to the preparation of the Verification Control Document.
/liliParticipate in major meetings/teleconferences with the customer and maintain regular contact.
/liliPeriodically support the System Engineering Manager in preparing and conducting Progress Meetings in front of the customer.
/li /ulpbLanguage: /b fluent English, spoken and written.
/ph3Personal requirements /h3pThe ideal candidate has a strong inclination towards teamwork and is at ease mediating even between different requests.
Open minded to different cultures in working, he always uses a collaborative approach, helping to find shared solutions.
/ppExperience in SW development (C, C++, Linux/Unix, Bash, Python) and knowledge of networking aspects (LAN, WAN structures, IP/Uni-Multi UDP/TCP/FTP/SFTP, Security architectures, FWs, Switches, Routing rules, VPNs) would be very useful in conducting the activity and appreciated.
/ppBackground on telecommunications, with special focus on satellite navigation systems, is a plus.
/ppEligibility to personal clearance is required.
