For the expansion of our team, we are seeking to hire in Pioltello, Milan a dynamic and motivated Mechanical RD Engineer.
/ph3Main Taks /h3ulliDesign and construction of electrical system/products and project-based solutions.
/liliPerform finite element analyses (tension/stress, fatigue, hardware analysis, welding, aging frequency/vibration) to aid and optimize design and validation of new products, focusing on modeling welded/bolted/riveted joints, fatigue, proof stresses, and safety factors according to railway norms and best practices.
/liliProvide technology innovations and high product reliability.
/liliKeep design database updated in order to trace and produce right apparatuses.
/liliKeep high level of technology in mechanical electrical products.




/liliValidate all mechanical electrical design of dedicated group.
/li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliMaster's degree in mechanical engineering with experience in FE simulation for mechanical validation.
Other master degree can be evaluated (like: electrical engineer...).
/liliElectrical AC/DC Medium / High voltage as a strong plus.
/liliDevelopment or technical design on mechanical or electro-mechanical devices is a plus.
/liliMinimum 5 years of successful industrial experience.
/liliVery good knowledge of 3D CAD modelling software (Solidworks, CATIA, Autodesk Inventor, Creo, etc..).
/liliRailway rolling stock industry international standards knowledge as a plus.
/liliExperience with MSC Nastran/Apex/Patran is advantageous.
/liliExperience with analysis of welded joints and fatigue is advantageous.
/liliLanguages: English - fluent with ability to create high-quality written reports for clients; French - beneficial but not required.
