ppWe are working with a fast-growing European Independent Power Producer (IPP) looking to appoint a bStructured Finance Associate /bto its team in Milan. /p pThe business develops, invests in, finances, owns and operates renewable energy assets across multiple European markets, with a growing portfolio across bsolar, wind and battery energy storage (BESS) /b. /p pThe Structured Finance Associate will play a key role in arranging and executing financing solutions across the company's development and operational portfolio. Working closely with the investment, MA, development and finance teams, the successful candidate will have significant exposure to lenders, institutional investors, advisers and senior management. /p pThis is an attractive opportunity for someone looking to move into a bprincipal-side environment /band take greater ownership of financing transactions across the full project lifecycle. /p h3bKey Responsibilities /b /h3 ul lipSupport the structuring, execution and closing of bproject finance and structured finance transactions /bacross renewable energy and BESS projects. /p /li lipBuild, maintain and review detailed financial models covering debt sizing, project returns, sensitivities and financing scenarios. /p /li lipEvaluate different financing structures, including: /p /li lipSenior project finance debt /p /li lipConstruction financing /p /li lipAcquisition financing /p /li lipHoldCo and portfolio financing /p /li lipRefinancing /p /li lipBridge facilities /p /li lipCorporate and structured debt solutions /p /li lipSupport negotiations with commercial banks,



infrastructure debt funds and other financing institutions. /p /li lipPrepare lender materials, financing presentations, information packs and internal investment papers. /p /li lipManage and coordinate financing due diligence across technical, legal, tax, insurance and commercial workstreams. /p /li lipReview and support the negotiation of term sheets, facility agreements and other financing documentation. /p /li lipWork closely with internal bMA and investment teams /bto assess financing assumptions for acquisitions and new investment opportunities. /p /li lipSupport the financing of projects from development through construction and into operations. /p /li lipAnalyse project economics, including power price assumptions, PPAs, merchant exposure, CAPEX, OPEX and debt capacity. /p /li lipMonitor existing financing arrangements, covenant compliance and refinancing opportunities across the operating portfolio. /p /li lipDevelop and maintain relationships with European banks, debt funds, advisers and other financing partners. /p /li lipSupport senior management in developing the group's broader financing and capital structure strategy.



/p /li /ul h3bCandidate Profile /b /h3 pThe successful candidate will ideally have: /p ul lipApproximately b3–6 years' relevant experience /bwithin project finance, structured finance, infrastructure finance or renewable energy. /p /li lipExperience gained within an bIPP, renewable energy developer, infrastructure investor, investment bank, commercial bank, debt fund or financial advisory business /b. /p /li lipStrong financial modelling capabilities and confidence working with complex project finance models. /p /li lipPrevious transaction experience within brenewable energy, power or infrastructure /b. /p /li lipUnderstanding of project finance structures, debt sizing, DSCR, sensitivities and project-level cash flows. /p /li lipExposure to financing documentation and lender due diligence processes. /p /li lipStrong analytical and commercial judgement. /p /li lipAbility to manage several transaction workstreams simultaneously. /p /li lipStrong communication skills and confidence interacting with lenders, advisers and senior internal stakeholders. /p /li lipA proactive and entrepreneurial mindset suited to a growing IPP environment. /p /li lipFluent English; Italian language skills would be highly advantageous. /p /li /ul h3bPreferred Sector Experience /b /h3 pExperience across one or more of the following would be particularly relevant: /p ul lipSolar PV /p /li lipOnshore Wind /p /li lipBattery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) /p /li lipHybrid renewable projects /p /li lipPower Energy Infrastructure /p /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
