These locations include: Montgomery, AL, NAS JRB Ft Worth, TX, NAS Lemoore and Edwards AFB, CA, Madison, WI, Elgin AFB, FL, Ghedi AB and Amendola Airbase, Italy, MCAS Iwakuni and Misawa AFB, Japan, Burlington, VT, MCAS Cherry Pt, NC, MCAS Beaufort, Eielson AFB, AK, Hill AFB, UT, Luke AFB and MCAS Yuma, AZ, MCAS Miramar, CA. Duties include support of sustainment, maintenance, and operation of F-35 training devices. Candidate will Install components and assemblies into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, and customer facilities. Perform, conduct, and document preventive maintenance checks required for the devices and associated subsystems. Update maintenance data collection records and assist with the installation and check-out of modifications to equipment. This position is sub-contacted by Lockheed Martin (LM), so candidate will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies, as directed. These positions are available in early 2024 and for Montgomery, AL immediately. Training is conducted for one week at Eglin AFB,



FL /p h3Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liMaintain simulation devices to meet availability specifications /li liEnsure training devices are powered up and ready for each training period /li liApply technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting design drawings, manuals, or simulator documentation /li liAssist with installations, testing, and maintenance of F-35 software packages /li liIsolate and report malfunctions and discrepancies to the lowest definable levels /li liDocuments and maintain cabling schemes and drawings /li liEstablish and perform maintenance programs following company and vendor standards /li liAdditional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required /li liWork closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin and BGI, LLC training team on site to fulfil F-35 training objectives /li liImplement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives, programs and policies as directed /li liComply with site security and access control procedures in accordance with F-35 program and customer procedures /li liSanitize all classified media (circuit cards, disk storage devices, etc.) to the LRU in accordance with established F-35 and customer procedures /li /ul h3Required and/or Preferred Qualifications /h3 h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liCandidate must have a transferable secret security clearance, last Periodic Reinvestigation must be within the last six years or be enrolled in Continuous Evaluation /li liCandidate must be able to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access /li liPossess knowledge and experience with simulation hardware and software or similar /li liAbility to read and use technical schematics,



drawings and manuals along with other technical materials to resolve complex problems /li liCandidate must be willing to support flexible work hours to align with customer operational schedule /li liCandidate must have a current Security+ certificate or able to acquire a Security+ certification within 3 months of hire date /li /ul h3Desired Qualifications /h3 ul li2 years of experience with aviation simulation systems /li liProven hardware and software support experience in a training/modeling and simulation environment /li liNetwork troubleshooting and maintenance experience /li liExperience working in classified/access-controlled facilities /li liAbility to brief/teach technical information to internal and external audiences /li liAbility to lead and mentor other team members /li liPossess a current Security+ certificate /li li3-5 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting Training and Simulation equipment /li liConsidered an expert, authority in discipline /li /ul pBGI is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affimative Action Employer.
