The selected professional will contribute to the development, maintenance and operation of advanced data-driven solutions focused on environmental analysis, scientific modelling and policy support activities. Leap - we are waiting for you! /ph3What You Will Do (Responsibilities): /h3ulliDesign, develop, and maintain data pipelines integrating data from multiple internal and external sources. /liliEnsure data quality, integrity, governance, security, and accessibility throughout the entire data lifecycle. /liliDevelop and optimise relational and non-relational databases, including SQL performance tuning and database management activities. /liliProcess, validate, and manage environmental and scientific datasets using Python, R, and SQL. /liliSupport the maintenance, enhancement, and operation of data-intensive modelling and analytical tools. /liliRetrieve,



organise and prepare datasets required for large-scale analytical and modelling activities. /liliExecute data workflows, model runs, and data processing activities, producing structured outputs and analytical datasets. /liliImplement metadata management and data governance best practices. /liliContribute to the development of AI and machine learning solutions for data analysis, optimisation, and modelling purposes. /liliCreate and maintain technical documentation describing workflows, data sources, processing logic, validation methods, and operational procedures. /liliCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams supporting research, analytics, and evidence-based decision-making activities. /li /ulh3What We Are Looking For (Requirements): /h3ulliAt least 3 years of higher education completed and evidenced by a diploma. /liliMinimum 5 years of post-secondary professional experience. /liliAt least 2 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering or similar positions. /liliStrong experience in data integration, processing, validation, and data management. /liliHands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL technologies. /liliStrong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL. /liliExperience with data engineering and data governance frameworks such as Talend, Collibra, Purview, Databricks, or Oracle solutions. /liliKnowledge of data visualisation tools including Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
