This is not a sales role, but rather an opportunity to be the principal technical advisor and ‘voice of the customer’ to organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises. /ph3The Role /h3pAs a TAM, you will help craft and execute strategies to drive our customers’ adoption and use of AWS services - including EC2, S3, DynamoDB RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and many more. Your technical acumen and customer-facing skills will enable you to effectively represent AWS within a customer’s environment, and drive discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management. /ppYou will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively keep your customers’ AWS environments operationally healthy. The close relationships developed with your customers will allow you to understand their business/operational needs and technical challenges, and help them achieve the greatest value from AWS. If you wish to be at the forefront of innovation, come join us! /ph3Key job responsibilities /h3ulliYou’ll build solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer /liliEnsure AWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing cost and complexity /liliDevelop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges /liliUsing your technical acumen and customer obsession, you’ll drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs,

We would love to hear from you. /ph3A day in the life /h3pThe TAM team exists to provide proactive world-class support to AWS Enterprise Support customers by building technical relationships with all levels within the customer, from engineers to C-level executives. We enable the customer to focus on their mission rather than the undifferentiated heavy lifting. We do this through delivering the Enterprise Support product which removes roadblocks to ensure the customer's mission success via the AWS platform. /ph3About The Team /h3pThe Italian team is comprised of Technical Account Managers (TAMs) and Enterprise Support Managers (ESMs) who hail from various backgrounds. We seek a diverse talent pool with different technical backgrounds, perspectives and experiences to shepherd our Enterprise Support customers through their cloud journey. Our emphasis on serving customers and their specific needs allows tailoring the Enterprise Support product to best suit them. /ph3Basic Qualifications /h3ulliFluency in Italian and English /lili3+ years of technical engineering experience /liliExperience operating and troubleshooting for one (1) of the following:
Compute / Storage / Networking / CDN / Databases / DevOps / Big Data and Analytics / Security / Applications Development in a distributed systems environment /liliBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Math/related discipline required, OR 5 years of equivalent work experience /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliProfessional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more decision maker(s) /liliHands-on experience with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings /liliTrack record in influencing management in technical, operational and strategic decisions /liliInternal enterprise or external customer-facing experience as a technical lead /liliExperience with SaaS, multi-tenant architectures and deployment automation is a plus /liliExperience using generative AI tools to improve personal or team productivity /li /ulpAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
