This expansion is backed by a $50M EU CHIPS Act grant—the first ever awarded to a startup. /p h3The role /h3 pWe are seeking a Senior Facility Engineer, focusing on the upkeep and maintenance of the cleanroom and supporting facility. In this role, your primary focus will be installing, maintaining, optimizing and scaling our DI water, chemical and gas supplies, and maintaining cleanroom conditions in the fab. You will support both production and RD needs in this new facility, which will operate 24/7. /p h3Your responsibilities /h3 ul liEstablish the engineering and maintenance business processes needed to run facility equipment in production, and document them to quality standards, for cleanroom support facility such as cooling water, DI water, and bulk and specialty gas supplies. /li liTrack, maintain and improve the delivery performance of the associated facility supplies, using SPC and proven statistical methods to ensure high-performance supply to the fab. /li liApply structured problem solving and root cause analysis to resolve issues and put permanent corrective actions in place. /li liStrong focus on keeping timelines and cost/budget control.



/li liEnsure close interaction with facility equipment suppliers, including owning the escalation of issues and calling in specialists where needed (travel, service changes). /li liSet up facility equipment performance KPIs, and monitor and adjust them against fab goals. /li /ul h3The candidate we are looking for /h3 ul liBSc or MSc in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred. Equivalent hands‑on experience running a cleanroom facility and its ancillary equipment will also be considered. /li liFive or more years in facility operations, ideally including cleanroom facility equipment control management. /li liExperience in equipment maintenance, with strong troubleshooting skills. /li liExperience in 5S and Lean Manufacturing, with good communication skills. /li liExperience in semiconductor fabs is an advantage. /li liCan commit to tempo pieno lab presence; due to the nature of the role we will not consider remote applicants. /li liEphos is a demanding environment.
