The historic hotel showcases majestic Venetian architecture dating back to the 14th century. Guests can also enjoy spectacular views of Venice’s landmarks from the rooftop Restaurant Terrazza Danieli. /p h3About The Role /h3 pThe Purchasing Supervisor supports the Purchasing Manager in overseeing the procurement, receiving, and inventory management activities across the hotel.
This role ensures the timely acquisition of goods and services, maintains strong supplier relationships, supports cost control initiatives, and guarantees compliance with company purchasing policies and quality standards. The Purchasing Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring operational departments have the resources required to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining financial efficiency. /p h3What You Will Do /h3 ul liSupervise daily purchasing activities to ensure the timely procurement of goods and services required for hotel operations. /li liMaintain effective relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring consistent quality, reliability, and competitive pricing. /li liSource and evaluate products through quotation analysis and market research to support cost‑effective purchasing decisions. /li liSupport contract administration and ensure proper documentation and authorization for purchasing activities. /li liCoordinate and supervise receiving and storeroom operations to ensure compliance with established procedures and internal controls. /li liVerify that all goods received meet quality standards and correspond to purchase orders and delivery documentation. /li liMaintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure operational efficiency while minimizing excess inventory. /li liReview slow‑moving and obsolete stock and recommend corrective actions to management. /li liCollaborate with the Accounts Payable team to investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies. /li liParticipate in month-end, quarterly, and annual inventory counts and related reporting activities. /li liSupport budgeting, forecasting, and purchasing analysis initiatives as required. /li liConduct regular audits of purchasing,
receiving, and storage practices to ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards. /li liPromote hygiene, safety, sustainability, and operational best practices within the department. /li liSupervise, train, and support purchasing, receiving, and stores team members, fostering a collaborative and service‑oriented environment. /li liCollaborate with Food Beverage, Culinary, and operational departments to support business needs and special projects. /li /ul h3What You Bring /h3 ul liDegree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, Finance, or equivalent professional experience. /li liFluency in English and Italian. /li li2-3 years of progressive experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Hospitality Operations. /li liPrevious supervisory experience in a hotel, luxury hospitality, or service‑driven environment preferred. /li liStrong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills. /li liKnowledge of purchasing procedures, inventory management, and cost control practices. /li liProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. /li liExperience working with procurement and inventory management systems. /li liExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. /li liStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. /li liHigh level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liAnnual gross basic salary of 35.000,00€ and a comprehensive benefits package. /li liExcellent Training and Development opportunities. /li liEmployee Discount for stays at any Four Seasons worldwide. /li liComplimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms. /li liComplimentary Employee Meals. /li /ul h3Schedule Location /h3 ul liFull‑time position. /li liFlexibility to work weekends and holidays as business levels require. /li liYou must possess the legal right to work in Italy. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
