ph3About Us /h3 pAI4I – Artificial Intelligence for Industry is a foundation established to implement Italy’s national strategy on Artificial Intelligence and to contribute to the development of a research and innovation ecosystem capable of generating an impact on the production system and on society. /p pThrough applied research, technology transfer and collaboration with businesses, universities, research centres and institutions, AI4I promotes the development of innovative AI‑based solutions and supports the country’s technological transformation. /p pThanks to long‑term public funding, a bstrategic partnership with the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) /b, an binternational Scientific Advisory Board /b and participation in the bEuropean AI Factory /b, AI4I offers a unique environment in which to help shape theb future of artificial intelligence in Italy and Europe /b. /p h3In short /h3 ul liAnnual Salary: € 55,000 + MBO 20% /li liLocation: Turin, Italy /li /ul h3Who We Are Looking For /h3 pSenior Administration and Finance Specialist /p pThe AI4I Foundation is seeking a Senior Administration and Finance Specialist, who will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the development of the administrative processes of a rapidly growing national foundation, playing a part in the evolution of the Finance function – with its advanced organizational structure – right from its early stages. The current role offers further progression in terms of responsibility and career development in the medium term. /p pThe successful candidate will act as the operational lead for the Foundation’s badministrative processes /b, providing the necessary support to the scientific network with the aim of bstreamlining procurement and administrative management activities /b, minimizing the administrative burden on the researchers themselves, in full compliance with the Foundation’s regulations and public law, ensuring coordination between researchers, internal departments, external service providers involved in administrative activities, and ensuring the proper conduct of administrative, accounting, financial and related tasks. /p pThe role requires a candidate with a bsolid background in administration and accountancy /b, preferably gained in an audit firm or within highly structured public or private sector organizations, capable of working independently, with precision and a sense of initiative in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment. /p pReporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities: /p ul liOverseeing the procurement cycle, supporting internal departments and researchers in preparing purchase requests,
and verifying their compliance with internal procedures and current legislation in coordination with the external service provider involved in the process. /li liManaging the administrative processes related to the accounts payable cycle, taking into account the specific requirements associated with research project reporting, ensuring the correct handling of goods received, supporting documentation for supplies and services, pre‑payment checks on invoices, and the reporting of company expenses. /li liCollaborate operationally with the external outsourcing provider on accounting processes, ensuring the timely transmission of the administrative and cost accounting information required for the correct recording of transactions. /li liSupport cash management by handling operational relations with banks, preparing the necessary documentation for payments and working with the Finance Director on liquidity management. /li liCoordinate with the Planning, Evaluation and Strategic Control function to implement the budgeting and management control process. /li liManage operational relations with tax and employment consultants, preparing the documentation required for compliance and monitoring its correct and timely execution. /li liTo assist the Finance Director with operational control activities, period‑end closing procedures, and the preparation of the annual financial statements and reports to support audits by the supervisory bodies. /li /ul h3Professional Requirements /h3 ul liA bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline. If the qualification was obtained abroad, it must be accompanied by a certificate of recognition or equivalence, in accordance with current legislation. /li liAt least 5 years’ experience in administration, accounts payable management, procurement processes, accounting or auditing. /li liKnowledge of general accounting principles and tax issues relating to the procurement of goods and services. /li liGood knowledge of public procurement legislation, the traceability of financial flows and related compliance requirements (CIG, CUP and associated regulations). /li liExperience in using ERP systems. /li liGood knowledge of English. /li /ul h3Preferred Requirements /h3 ul liExperience gained in the sector covered by the search, in industrial fields related to the Foundation’s activities or in research bodies, foundations, universities or publicly funded organizations. /li liExperience in managing funded projects.
