The facility will process 1,400MBCD of water for injection to support production forecasts up to 2035 and maintain maximum sustainable capability. Additionally, it will expand water facilities to accommodate surplus produced water exceeding current system capacity. /ph3Job Purpose /h3pAs an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will ensure contractor compliance across the following areas: /pulliThe defined Scope of Work /liliInternationally recognized applicable standards /liliQuality of the engineering design /liliOptimization of electrical project design to minimize operational and maintenance costs /liliProject engineering and purchasing schedules /li /ulh3Key Responsibilities and Duties /h3ulliReview electrical system and equipment design packages, including drawings, datasheets, calculations, bill of materials/quantities, cost estimates, hazardous area classification, and system studies. /liliPrepare the Project Design Basis Document as per project requirements. /liliDevelop comprehensive project load lists based on project scope. /liliProduce technical reports and specifications for electrical equipment outside of standard specifications. /liliOversee engineering, procurement, and construction contractors during the FEED and design phases. /liliCoordinate with project managers to finalize electrical engineering scope for each project package. /liliAnalyze and evaluate major equipment chosen for the project. /liliAddress and respond to technical and site queries. /liliSupport and participate in equipment Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).



/liliDemonstrated experience in project execution in accordance with major industrial standards. /liliMonitor and review contractor performance and work quality in coordination with project management teams. /liliEnsure that design work aligns with relevant standards, codes, regulations, and best practices. /liliAssist in evaluating Material Requisitions, Technical Bid Evaluations, and Award Recommendations; provide procurement support. /liliReview and assess Change Orders for compliance with standards and alignment with project budgets. /liliCollaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure facility integrity, especially regarding HSE. /liliProvide technical assurance for all electrical deliverables. /liliPrepare and approve electrical engineering packages before they are issued for construction. /liliLead and recommend improvements for installations or modifications to enhance facilities and standards. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3h3bEducational Technical Requirements: /b /h3ulli10-15 years of experience in design, engineering, and construction (experience with similar major operators is preferable). /liliBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related science degree with a focus in Electrical Engineering. /liliProfessional certification as an engineer is desirable. /liliFamiliarity with NEC, IEEE/ANSI, IEC, and other international electrical standards, best practices, and value practices. /liliFully proficient with analogue and digital control systems, including Power System Automation (PSA), DCS, PLC, and SCADA controls. /liliExcellent command of the English language for in-depth analysis, professional presentations, and staying current with technical advancements. /liliExperience with Electrical Transient Analysis Program (ETAP) or similar software and all Microsoft Office applications. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
