**Description** Period of employment: 6 months **Main Function** We are looking for Security Guards, with strong security, military or police experience. **Qualifications**
- Basic understanding of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS)
- Skills and ability to recognise, understand and deal with potential security threats
- Fully qualified with a proven record of competence for the position
- An above-average level of fitness and skills in tactful, diplomatic crisis and problem solving
- Excellent English language skills, both written and oral
- Read, understand and comply with the Standing Orders of the Master, the Ship Security Plan
- (SSP), Security Standard Procedures and other Standard Procedures that impact the security **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain security of the ship and the implementation of the SSP and Standard Procedures.




- Responsible for gangway security & access control.
- Responsible for security screening of passengers, crew and visitors belongings and personal effects to prevent dangerous and prohibited items being brought onto the vessel.
- Undertake security patrols of Restricted, Controlled and Vulnerable areas
- Undertake patrols of passenger areas.
- Investigates crimes, incidents and safeguarding matters
- Compiling statements and reports.
- Reporting all crimes, incidents and safeguarding matters.
- Participate in security training, drills and exercises. Pay: From €2,300.00 per month **Experience**: - military/police/army/airport security/customs: 1 year (required) **Language**: - English (required)
