**Tasks**:

- Development of a machine-learning-based decision model for the location optimization of charging stations in Northern Italy.
- Analysis of traffic data and forecasts for the spread of electric vehicles.
- Consideration of location factors such as traffic flow, competitive situation, and future market developments.
- Evaluation of the profitability of new charging stations through AI-supported modeling.
- TOPIC 2: Distribution Optimization of E-Car-Sharing Stations
- Machine-learning-based modeling of the optimal distribution of e-car-sharing stations in South Tyrol.
- Use of historical usage data and urban factors to forecast demands.
- Development of a data-driven decision tool for strategic expansion.
- EXPECTED RESULTS
- Creation of machine learning models for the location analysis of charging and/or e-car-sharing stations.
- Visualization of optimal locations using geospatial modeling.
- Integration of economic factors to evaluate the profitability of new infrastructure locations. **Requirements**:



- Studies in Machine Learning, Intelligent Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of machine learning.
- Experience with Python and libraries.
- Interest in sustainable mobility and geodata analysis.
- Very good oral and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Italian and/or German is an advantage.
- Strong teamwork abilities, interpersonal relationships, and capacity for autonomous work.
