In addition, the hotel has two versatile function rooms. **About the job** Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Seta Restaurant Department in Milan, the Sommelier is responsible to delight and satisfy our guests. We are dedicated to making a difference every day and continually improve to ensure we are the best. The Sommelier reports to the Restaurant Manager. **As**Sommelier,



you will responsible for the following duties**: - Serve all beverage orders in a professional manner using the correct equipment and following the proper procedures
- Be able to recommend suggestion of wine to the guest according to the requirements
- Take beverage orders and promote up selling techniques
- Ensure that all wine lists are updated and maintain accurate sales records of wines and spirits
- Control the stock level of all beverage items
- Assist with the service of food when necessary **As Sommelier, we expect from you**: - A working experience in fine-dining restaurant with certain experience at supervisory level, preferably in 5-star hotel
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Willing to learn and able to work under pressure
