Director of Buying - Luxury (all genders)
As Buying & Merchandising Leader for the Luxury division in a fast-paced, members-only e-commerce environment in Milan, you own end-to-end commercial performance and deliver revenue, margin, and sell-through targets.
You define and execute a data-driven luxury buying strategy to curate an assortment that drives engagement, conversions, and long-term loyalty.
You lead brand partnerships, negotiations, and supply terms to balance exclusivity with performance within an off-price model.
You collaborate with Planning, Trading, Marketing, CRM, and Supply Chain to execute the strategy and develop a high-performing, agile team.
Own end-to-end commercial ownership of the Luxury division, achieving revenue, margin, and sell-through targets.
Define and execute a data-driven luxury buying strategy and curate a compelling assortment.
Lead seasonal and in-season buying balancing commercial performance with brand desirability in an off-price model.
Own and optimize assortment architecture using performance data, insights, and trends.
Build and manage luxury brand partnerships, negotiating terms, exclusivities, and supply.
Drive performance through analysis of KPIs: sell-through, conversion, availability, pricing,



and category performance.
Collaborate with Planning, Trading, Marketing, CRM, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless strategy execution and transparent performance communication.
Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing Buying team with a culture of ownership and data-driven decision making.
At least 5 years of leadership experience in luxury fashion, ideally in Buying leadership.
Significant luxury buying/merchandising/trading experience in e-commerce or digital retail; off-price experience a plus.
Strong understanding of luxury brand positioning, digital consumer behavior, and online trading in a data-driven environment.
Proven track record of driving e-commerce performance using KPIs and analytics.
Established network and experience managing relationships with luxury brands and wholesale partners.
Strong negotiation skills with a history of successful outcomes in high-value brand environments.
Demonstrated leadership with experience building and scaling high-performing, agile teams.
Entrepreneurial, analytical, results-oriented; fluent in business English; willing to travel.
