As a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer, you drive supplier performance to meet Atlas Copco quality standards within the Robassomero site.
You collaborate with Sourcing, Operations, and Engineering to ensure purchased goods meet requirements and supporting part qualification readiness for new projects.
You act as the quality advocate, identifying supplier strengths and weaknesses and implementing preventive actions.
Your work helps sustain high-quality products and a reliable supply chain in a global, cross-functional environment.

Audit and monitor supplier processes; perform system audits to assess supplier eligibility Track supplier KPIs and drive corrective actions to improve quality performance Support parts qualification readiness for new projects and lead involvement in technical reviews until Start Of Production Coordinate tooling kick?off activities and supplier?side realization in line with project timing Identify weaknesses in components/processes and propose preventive actions,



especially during development phases Participate in component inspections of initial samples and oversee internal qualification processes Notify and manage non?conformity reports with suppliers; guide root cause analyses and permanent corrective actions Promote supplier development and the use of quality tools (SPC, 8 D, PPAP, FMEA, etc.) Collaborate with Sourcing, QIG, Production, and Engineering to share supplier performance data and define supplier strategies Support global supplier scouting and test plan development for parts approval Responsabilità
Master's degree in Engineering Experience in Operations (Manufacturing, Quality) and/or Engineering Strong understanding of process?product links and cause?effect relationships Knowledge of metrology fundamentals and ability to read technical documentation (drawings/specifications) Experience with industrial quality procedures and tools (ISO, PPAP, Auditing, CAPA, FMEA, PCP, MSA, SPC, Control Documents, Process Capability) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams) Experience with MRP systems such as AS400, BPCS is a plus Knowledge of Office365 tools (Share Point, Power BI, Power Automate, Project) is a plus Fluency in Italian required; English is a strong plus
