Job Overview
Be responsible for end-to-end regional sales operation, team building, customer development and channel layout of energy storage & microgrid business across European countries, deliver annual sales revenue & project order targets, build a localized multicultural sales team, and promote long-term business growth in the European market.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve annual sales order and revenue targets for energy storage & microgrid projects within assigned European regional scope.
Build local European sales team from scratch, covering end-to-end recruitment, induction training, performance incentive system formulation and daily team management for local sales executives.
Formulate tailored regional sales strategies aligned with EU energy policies, decompose team sales KPIs, supervise daily implementation, and improve overall team sales competency.
Lead the team to develop European end clients, EPC contractors, utility groups and strategic energy customers independently, maintain long-term strategic client partnerships, and provide on-site sales negotiation, technical bidding and business guidance for the team.
Conduct in-depth research on European energy policies, local grid standards and peer competitor landscape, submit localized product iteration, pricing and market expansion proposals to global headquarters.
Collaborate closely with regional channel managers to develop,
manage and optimize local distributor, system integrator and partner channel networks across Europe.
Submit regular work reports including sales forecast, quarterly performance progress, policy updates and regional market dynamics to headquarters timely.
Job Requirements
Bachelor degree or above, major in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, New Energy or related disciplines is preferred.
Minimum 5 years direct working experience in utility-scale energy storage, commercial & industrial energy storage or microgrid project sales within European market, with verifiable closed project cases.
Minimum 2 years formal cross-cultural sales team management experience, capable of managing European local sales teams independently with proven team management performance.
Willing to work and reside long-term in Europe; mature existing resources covering European power groups, EPC enterprises and investment clients is highly preferred.
Excellent leadership, cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills, able to motivate and manage multicultural local teams stably.
Result-oriented mindset, solid strategic planning ability and end-to-end project execution capability.
Fluent business English; proficiency in German, French, Spanish or other European local languages is a plus.
