The Role The Registered Nurse or Midwife - Clinical Coach plays a pivotal role in supporting the development of novice nurses and midwives across a range of clinical settings. Working closely with education and clinical teams, this position provides clinical supervision, coaching, assessment and feedback to help build capability, confidence and safe clinical practice. The role contributes to positive patient outcomes by fostering evidence-based care, supporting learning and development goals, and strengthening the clinical workforce through effective coaching and leadership.

About the successful candidate

Applicants will bring a combination of clinical expertise, leadership and a passion for developing others, including:

- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical coaching, supervision and constructive feedback to support the professional growth of novice nurses and midwives.
- Strong contemporary clinical knowledge and experience applying evidence-based nursing or midwifery practice in complex healthcare environments.
- Proven capability to provide clinical leadership, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to education, quality improvement and practice development initiatives.
- Highly developed communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess performance, support learning goals and promote positive patient outcomes.

Details of Appointment Fixed term tempo parziale, day worker position, working 16 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible until 24 October 2026.

Please note that hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary

$102,439 - $109,175 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging.

Eligibility





Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

1. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse or a Registered Midwife.

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
1. Minimum of 4 years clinical experience in the relevant practice setting.
2. Relevant postgraduate qualifications appropriate to the clinical area.
3. Membership with the relevant professional organisation (e.g.: Australian College of Nursing, Australian College of Midwives, ACORN, ACCCN).
