Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced E3D Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I;) Modeller to support an ongoing Energy engineering project based in Milan, Italy. The position will focus primarily on cable tray modelling and routing using AVEVA E3D. The successful candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary project team and coordinate technical matters between the Milan project site and the Kuala Lumpur engineering office.

Key Responsibilities

● Perform 3D modelling of Electrical and Instrumentation systems using AVEVA E3D.

● Develop, update and optimise cable tray layouts and routing.

● Ensure E&I; models comply with project specifications, engineering standards and design requirements.

● Coordinate with E&I; engineers and other engineering disciplines to resolve clashes, interfaces and design issues.

● Review and update models based on engineering comments, design changes and site feedback.

● Support model reviews and multidisciplinary coordination activities.





● Maintain effective technical communication between the Milan project team and the Kuala Lumpur engineering office.

● Support HVAC modelling activities where required, subject to experience.

Requirements

● Proven hands-on experience using AVEVA E3D for E&I; modelling.

● Strong practical experience in cable tray modelling, layout and routing.

● Previous experience supporting Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC or industrial engineering projects is preferred.

● Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts and project specifications.

● Good understanding of multidisciplinary interfaces and 3D model coordination.

● Strong communication and teamwork skills.

● Good command of written and spoken English.

● Bahasa Malaysia proficiency would be an advantage.

● HVAC modelling exposure would be an added advantage.

● Willing and available to undertake a 3 month assignment in Milan, Italy.

● Able to start as soon as possible.
