Our work is not delivered through presentations or slide decks but through formal memoranda that require rigorous data support. We are looking for a Data Reporting Assistant to join this mandate, helping us ground our written arguments in verified, clear, and well-organized information.

This is a full-time, fully remote position designed for an entry-level professional who values the clarity that comes from careful data analysis and precise writing.

The Role

As a Data Reporting Assistant, you will act as the foundation for our analytical work. Your daily focus is on gathering data from the client and other secondary sources, ensuring its accuracy, and preparing it for the principals who author our final memos.

Your responsibilities include:

- Organizing and cleaning raw datasets provided by the Italian infrastructure firm.

- Verifying the accuracy of financial and operational figures against original source documents.

- Creating clear, static tables and charts that will be embedded directly into written memoranda.

- Synthesizing data findings into brief, written summaries for the consulting team.

- Reconciling disparate reports to identify inconsistencies or gaps in the internal narrative.

- Maintaining a clean digital archive of all data sources used for a specific mandate.

- Communicating findings through precise, written updates rather than verbal presentations.

This position is suited for a recent graduate or someone early in their career with a background in data analysis, economics, or finance. We look for intellectual maturity and a disciplined approach to work.

Requirements include:

- A basic proficiency in data software and tools, particularly Excel, for organizing and analyzing information.

- The ability to write clearly and grammatically, as all our internal and external communication is document-based.

- A high degree of attention to detail and a refusal to accept data at face value without verification.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple streams of information independently.

- A willingness to learn the specific methods of the firm, focusing on accuracy over speed.

- A degree or equivalent coursework in a field that requires quantitative analysis and logical reasoning.

- The maturity to handle confidential client information with absolute discretion.
