JHC Consulting is currently supporting a significant mandate as an established Italian financial services group expands its operations across new markets. This engagement requires our firm to provide rigorous strategic counsel and detailed analysis to their board of directors. To support the technical delivery of our findings and the internal tools used by our analysts, we are seeking an Associate Frontend Developer.

This is a fully remote position intended for an individual at the start of their career who values precision, clarity, and the discipline of high level professional service.

The Role In this role, your primary task is to build and maintain the digital interfaces that host our written work. We do not use traditional presentations. Instead, we rely on structured digital memoranda that must be readable, secure, and perfectly formatted. Your day to day work will involve the following tasks:

- Developing and refining clean, typography focused web interfaces for our internal research repository.

- Translating complex data sets provided by our analysts into clear, interactive visualizations that support our written arguments.

- Collaborating with our principals to ensure that the digital delivery of our counsel meets the aesthetic and functional standards of a private advisory practice.

- Writing clean, maintainable code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support our bespoke internal tools.

- Participating in the review of technical requirements for new projects related to our expanding client base in the financial sector.

- Troubleshooting and resolving frontend issues to ensure an uninterrupted reading experience for our clients.

- Assisting in the documentation of our technical processes to maintain a record of our development standards.

What You Bring





We are looking for an individual who views code as a tool for clear communication. As this is an entry level role, we value intellectual curiosity and a foundational understanding of web development over years of professional history. We expect the following from you:

- A solid understanding of frontend fundamentals, including HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.

- Familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework, such as React or Vue, gained through studies or personal projects.

- An appreciation for typography and layout, understanding how design choices can aid or hinder the reading of a complex argument.

- The ability to work independently in a remote setting, managing your time and tasks without constant supervision.

- Strong written communication skills in English, as writing is the primary mode of coordination within our firm.

- An interest in the financial services sector and the strategic questions that boards and executives must answer.

- A disciplined approach to problem solving and a willingness to learn the specific standards of our practice.
