ph3Overview /h3 pbBusiness Line Product Steward - Specialist /b serves as the primary bProduct Stewardship /b representative for assigned business lines, providing regulatory expertise and strategic support throughout the product lifecycle. This role acts as the key point of contact for regulatory and product stewardship matters, partnering closely with business, Technology Innovation (TI), manufacturing, legal, and quality to ensure products are developed, manufactured, marketed, and sold in compliance with applicable global regulations and company policies. /p pThe BLPS also supports business growth initiatives, including new product development (NPD), productivity projects, and market expansions, while proactively identifying and managing regulatory risks and opportunities. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pYOU will be involved in the following tasks: /p h3Business Partnership Product Expertise /h3 ul liServe as the primary Product Stewardship contact for assigned business lines. /li liProvide timely regulatory guidance to technical, business, and commercial teams. /li liDevelop a strong understanding of the business line products, applications, customers, markets, and strategic objectives. /li liMaintain strong product technical expertise to facilitate engagement with technical teams. /li liParticipate in business meetings and technical project teams to provide regulatory insights and risk assessments. /li liPartner with other Product Stewardship teams to support business decision-making through evaluation of regulatory requirements, compliance obligations, and emerging regulatory trends. /li liSupport SAP maintenance and correction of compositional data including PS Blocks.



/li liLead Project Risk Management projects by partnering with TI and other functions. /li /ul h3Regulatory Compliance Expertise /h3 ul liMaintain working knowledge of global chemical regulations and product stewardship requirements, including topics such as REACH, TSCA, Chemical Inventories, Restricted Substance requirements, Product Safety regulations, emerging regulatory initiatives, etc. /li liPartner with Substance Management Registration team to interpret regulatory requirements and assess impacts to products, businesses, and customers. /li liMonitor regulatory developments and communicate potential business impacts and recommended actions. /li liSupport regulatory compliance strategies for existing and new products. /li /ul h3New Product Development Project Support /h3 ul liPartner with business technical teams to provide Product Stewardship support for NPDs, Productivity projects, and Business Cases. /li liSupport NPDs from concept through commercialization. /li liConduct regulatory and product stewardship assessments for new raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. /li liIdentify regulatory requirements, registration needs, and potential market access challenges during development.



/li liCollaborate with TI and project teams to ensure stewardship considerations are incorporated early in the development processes. /li liServe as Product Stewardship approver for all Evolve request. /li /ul h3Cross-Functional Collaboration /h3 ul liWork closely with TI, Business, Quality, Legal, and Commercial teams. /li liDeliver regulatory training to relevant stakeholders whenever necessary, as well as orientation training for new employees. /li liParticipate in cross-functional project teams to support regulatory assessments and business impact. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pWhat YOU will bring to the team: /p ul liBachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, or related scientific discipline required. /li li5+ years of experience in Product Stewardship, Regulatory Affairs, EHS, Product Safety, or related field. /li liExperience supporting chemical, specialty materials, industrial, or manufacturing businesses preferred. /li liExperience working with cross-functional business and technical teams. /li liExperience with SAP EHS/Product Compliance systems or the ability to quickly learn enterprise compliance platforms. /li liStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills in an international working environment. /li liExcellent problem-solving, organization, and risk assessment capabilities. /li liAbility to balance business objectives with regulatory compliance requirements. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liFamiliarity with global chemical regulations, including TSCA, REACH, GHS, and other regional regulatory frameworks. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
