This expansion is backed by a $50M EU CHIPS Act grant—the first ever awarded to a startup. /p h3The role /h3 pYou will be the equipment owner for wet bench clean tools, substrate singulation tools and CMP tools. Working with the area process engineer, you will drive equipment planning, selection and configuration, document PM procedures and train technicians to perform them on shift. You will own installation, start-up and volume ramp for all respective process equipment. /p h3Your responsibilities /h3 ul liStrong focus on keeping timelines and cost/budget control. /li liAct as primary decision maker with facilities on equipment hookup and subsequent control. /li liEstablish and manage the equipment budget and cost model. /li liWork in close collaboration with Process and Manufacturing. /li liEstablish the equipment engineering and maintenance business processes needed to run the tools in production, and document them to quality standards. /li liEnsure close interaction with equipment suppliers,



including owning the escalation of issues and calling in specialists where needed (travel, service changes). /li liAdvanced troubleshooting of semiconductor process tool issues. /li liSet up equipment performance KPIs, and monitor and adjust them against fab goals. /li /ul h3The candidate we are looking for /h3 ul liBSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or a related subject /li li5+ years of equipment engineering experience in semiconductor equipment, preferably wet bench, singulation or CMP tools. Equivalent hands‑on experience running a cleanroom facility and its ancillary equipment will also be considered. /li liExcellent interpersonal skills, energetic and a self‑starter. /li liStrong continuous improvement mindset, permanently driving to identify and eliminate waste and errors in business processes, work procedures and instructions, and work organization. /li liCan commit to tempo pieno lab presence; due to the nature of the role we will not consider remote applicants. /li liEphos is a demanding environment.
