We're looking for an experienced COPYWRITER professional to support our head marketing office on a part-time basis and collaborate with the marketing and sales teams. **In this role**:
you'll attract customers to the Virgin Active fitness clubs and generate sales inquiries by writing copy that hits the brief and deliver results; **In particular**:
you'll be responsible for the production of on-brand, commercially-focused copy for the digital channels to enhance sales lead generations;
you'll need to be able to write and edit high-quality on-brand, SEO-optimized copy for the website. **You'll also**:
collaborate on an ongoing basis with the various head office departments (fitness product, customer care, HR, etc.) to produce copy for all company projects as required;
produce top-quality marketing copy in line with international brand guidelines and global copy standards;
provide proofing and editing for other marketing materials created by external agencies and business partners;
demonstrate excellent communication skills, working effectively with high-level stakeholders within the company.



Who are we looking for? At least 5-year work experience with copywriting in an agency and/or corporate environment, preferably in online, retail, or FMCG companies.
Preferred degree-level qualification in writing/communications. Proven knowledge of onsite SEO principles in a previous related copywriting role.
Excellent grasp of grammar and sales-oriented writing, with an eye for accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines.
Ability to liaise with key stakeholders for copy approval.
Italian native speaker with strongly fluent English. Based in Milan metropolitan area. This is a tempo parziale position and we are evaluating both freelancers and fixed-term contracts for a 9-12 month project. The compensation package will be based on experience. **Worksite**: Milan hinterland, with the possibility of working remotely.
