You will serve as an INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS SPECIALIST (Host Nation Coordinator) in the Host Nation Affairs Office of COMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE, in Naples, Italy. In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized Experience

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting international relations negotiations with senior-level host nation official researching, producing, and dissemination analytical international relations reports (e.g.

Foreign Language: Proficiency in the Italian language, both oral and written, is required because this position requires direct engagement with senior Italian government and civic officials and advising U. S. participants on protocol and the political, economic, social, and cultural context of engagements.

Selective Placement Factor: Applicants must demonstrate fluency in the Italian language, both oral and written. A person who holds both Italian and U. ICTAP Applicants To be considered well-qualified and exercise selection priority as an ICTAP candidate, displaced Federal employees must satisfy all qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher. PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ).

To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
