For a historic Italian company, a leader in the design and production of extrusion, blow molding, and injection-stretch-blow molding machines, we are looking for MECHANICAL DESIGNER The candidate will be part of a dynamic, rapidly growing company with a strong focus on technological innovation and production efficiency. Specifically, they will work in the technical office, composed of a solid team of designers, to develop and optimize machines and production lines for the plastics sector. This role will have a direct impact on product performance, industrialization times, and the company's technological competitiveness. Main Responsibilities




- 3D and 2D development of components and assemblies with Catia (solid modeling, surfaces, complex assemblies) and SOLID EDGE
- Drafting and verifying executive drawings, bills of materials, and technical specifications for production and suppliers
- Design for manufacturability (DFM), interference analysis, and constructive optimization
- Support for prototyping, testing, and machine start-ups; fault analysis and post-commissioning modifications
- Interface with R&D;, purchasing department, production, and suppliers to ensure delivery times and quality
- Application of machine safety standards and CE requirements

Requirements
- Technical studies in the mechanical field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in mechanical design of industrial machines, preferably in the extrusion/blow molding/injection sector.
- Skills in mechanical drawing, tolerances/GD&T;, materials, and manufacturing process
