Duties and Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services that support LodgeLink's platform and business objectives. Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions. Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions under the guidance of senior engineers and technical leaders. Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to the development and evolution of cloud-native solutions and distributed systems. Work within Agile development practices, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement activities. Identify and help address technical debt while balancing short-term delivery and long-term platform health. Support the deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of applications in production environments. Contribute to improving engineering processes, tooling,



and development standards. Share knowledge, learn from teammates, and actively contribute to a collaborative engineering culture. Qualifications 3–5 years of software development experience building and supporting software applications in a professional environment. Experienced with frontend development with React and building backend microservices and APIs. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly, with a solid foundation in software engineering principles. Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and software engineering best practices. Working knowledge of SOLID principles, software architecture concepts, clean code practices, and maintainable application design. Experience developing and consuming APIs and an understanding of API-first development approaches. Familiarity with modern backend technologies and patterns such as Go, gRPC, REST APIs or equiva
