The role ensures compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and long-term integrity needs. General Description of Role and Responsibilities: Material Selection & Engineering Develop material selection reports for linepipe, fittings, PLET/PLEM structures, CRA materials, and flanges. Define corrosion allowances, pressure/temperature class requirements. Ensure compliance with DNV-ST-F101, API 5L, ISO 13628,



and API 17D standards. Corrosion Engineering & Protection Systems Define internal and external corrosion protection strategies. Review CP design calculations, anode systems, and coating specifications. Evaluate inhibitor/MEG/CI requirements and corrosion risk assessments. Welding Engineering & Fabrication Support Review WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications. Support weld overlay, clad systems, and heat treatment requirements. Review NDT requirements and weldability evaluations. Coating & Field Joint Protection Define external coating systems and field joint coating (FJC) requirements. Review coating procedures, qualification testing, and mechanical protection (CWC, anti-buckle sleeves). Pipeline Integrity & Technical Assurance Review fracture toughness, sour service suitability, fatigue performance, and material traceability.
