RINA is currently recruiting for a Hardware Design Engineer to join its office in Rome within the Electronics and System Engineering Division.
Mission
In this role, you will combine hands‑on hardware design activities with the preparation of technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and customers in an aerospace environment.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and develop electronic boards for aerospace applications;
- support hardware integration;
- analyze and troubleshoot design issues, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with project requirements;
- collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle;
- produce technical data packages, production documentation, test requirements, and test procedures;
- contribute to technical reviews and customer meetings, presenting design solutions and technical documentation;
- contribute to technical proposals preparation and feasibility analyses based on customer requirements.
Education
Master’s Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering
Qualifications
- Around 2+ years of experience in hardware design and/or technical documentation activities;
- solid understanding of electronic board design principles;
- ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team;
- good communication skills and ability to interface with customers.
Nice to have
- Experience in aerospace, avionics, defense, or other regulated industries;
- knowledge of FPGA development;
- experience supporting certification and compliance activities.
