About the Role
Leads the strategic development and management of the Procurement and Logistics functions, driving supplier performance, optimizing the acquisition costs of goods and services, negotiating strategic contracts, and fostering global synergies with Coesia headquarters and other group companies. Ensures the alignment of sourcing and logistics strategies with business objectives, supporting operational excellence, cost efficiency, and sustainable growth. - Leads, develops, and manages the Procurement team, monitoring individual performance through departmental KPIs, providing regular feedback, and fostering professional growth through coaching and challenging assignments. - Acts as the primary point of escalation, mediating conflicts and aligning expectations between suppliers and internal stakeholders. - Provides commercial and procurement expertise to project teams,



supporting strategic sourcing decisions and project execution. - Develops, monitors, and reports strategic procurement and logistics KPIs to headquarters, including supplier performance, price variances, delivery reliability, and quality metrics. - Develops and leads corrective action plans to address procurement and supply chain challenges within specific projects. - Defines and implements sourcing strategies to reduce costs and lead times for imported components through localization initiatives and direct purchasing from manufacturers. - Establishes procurement policies and manages local supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and business objectives. - Manages the supplier base, driving competitiveness, supplier development, and long-term strategic partnerships. - Leads continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes, enhancing supply chain efficiency and team performance. - Performs other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.
What You Need to Be Successful
Education • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. • Postgraduate Degree / Specialization in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related fields. Languages • Fluent English. Experience and Knowledge • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supplier management, and international trade activities, including import and export operations. • Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier development, contract negotiation, and supply chain management. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related areas.
