Risk Consulting is looking for candidates as Property Loss Assessor/Claims Preparer to join our Forensic Accounting and Claims Services (FACS) based in Milan.
Risk Consulting is a management consulting firm that provides risk management services as part of Marsh Risk , a leader in insurance brokerage and head of the international Marsh Group, a group of expertise in strategic and management consulting, reinsurance, human capital, and investments ( Oliver Wyman, Guy Carpenter, Mercer ).
Based on proven skills, you will be the referral for the internal Property Damage (PD) practice. The role will involve quantifying losses, preparing insurance claims, and negotiating complex Property claims in the best interests of clients. Coordinating salvage, securing, and remediation actions from the earliest stages as the technical point of reference.
Analyzing the insurance contract to ensure the correct application of policy terms and conditions
Reviewing technical documentation supporting the loss from a preventive and strategic perspective
Reviewing loss-related supporting documentation and coordinating data collection between the client and the team.
Monitoring success metrics and proposing process improvements in collaboration with the team.
Promoting collaboration among team colleagues.
Degree in a technical discipline, preferably civil or mechanical engineering
Proven experience in quantifying property damage, both direct and indirect
Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English
Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad

The position is offered on a permanent basis.
We propose a gross annual salary starting from € 50.000 for a full-time position. Depending on experience, skills and qualifications, we are willing to consider compensation above the starting salary. Further details will be shared during the selection process or directly in the employment contract.
The contractual level, together with the applicable terms and conditions, will be determined in line with the experience and professional profile of the candidate selected through the recruitment process.
