We're looking for a hands‐on, quick‐thinking Wind Turbine Technician to keep our turbines spinning smoothly based in Italy. /p pThis role will require extensive travel to wind farms across Italy and Europe to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines. The position demands technical proficiency, problem‐solving skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. /p pIf you thrive on the thrill of troubleshooting and love the satisfaction of a job well done, this might just be the perfect role for you. /p h3What You'll Be Handling Day-to-Day /h3 pScheduled Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, filter replacement, and inspections, ensuring turbines meet operational standards. /p ul liTroubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on wind turbines using specialized tools and technology. /li liComponent Replacement: Replace faulty components, including blades, gearboxes, and electrical systems. /li liData Logging: Collect and report turbine performance data, ensuring accurate records of inspections, repairs, and adjustments. /li liSafety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures, using personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a safe work environment. /li liTravel: This is a travel‐based role, requiring frequent travel across Italy and potentially to other countries within Europe. /li /ul h3On the Windy Frontline /h3 pDuring all activities you are responsible for maintaining customer contact on site to update them on the status. /p h3Safety Quality:
Your North Star /h3 pAdhere to safety protocols and procedures, identifying and mitigating potential hazards. /p pYou are responsible for checking and maintaining quality of all components relating to wind turbine, as well as recognizing interconnections within the system's architecture. /p pYou are accountable for the safe and effective operation of electrical and mechanical components within the wind turbine. /p h3Catch the Breeze of Improvement /h3 pCollaborate with engineering and operational teams to implement improvements and optimize turbine performance. /p pContinuously improving the performance of our wind turbine fleet based on the error/gap analysis, response times and Operational Data statistics. /p pYou will also on occasion work on tasks with the control room, remote monitoring of wind turbines worldwide. /p h3Requirements /h3 h3What You'll Need in Your Toolkit: /h3 h3Technical Knowledge: /h3 pStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems related to wind turbines. /p h3Education: /h3 pDegree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related fields preferred. Equivalent work experience is also considered. /p h3Experience: /h3 pMinimum of 2 years working in the wind industry or similar industrial fields. /p h3Languages: /h3 pFluency in Italian and English is required. /p h3Physical Fitness: /h3 pAbility to climb wind turbines, work at heights, and carry out physically demanding tasks. /p h3Problem-Solving: /h3 pStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues. /p h3Team Player:
