We are looking for an Industrial Vision Engineer to join the Industrial Inspection Italy R&D; team in Agordo.
The successful candidate will leverage their technical expertise to develop in-house vision applications for the industrial inspection of the main components of eyewear products: frames and lenses. The candidate will work in a project-based environment alongside multidisciplinary technical teams covering all domains of industrial machinery. There will be continuous collaboration with R&D; and engineering teams located around the world (Belgium and France in particular) to ensure global excellence in our deliverables.
Developing application for industrial inspection of frames and lenses Vision system design and prototyping, including hardware and optical setup definition (optics, lighting systems, and cameras) Developing and maintaining full-stack software tools for vision-based inspection applications Definition of requirements and technical specifications related to human-machine interface (HMI) programming Installation, testing,
and commissioning of vision systems Management of software development suppliers for industrial automation projects Building, together with your teammates, the future of industrial inspection in the eyewear industry Technical support Industrial inspection background, in particular in defect detection, geometric inspection, presence/absence of components, optical power inspection Color inspection experience is a plus Experience in programming and software design for vision systems, with a git-based development workflow Experience in optics and lighting, applied to industrial vision systems Good knowledge of industrial communication protocols (mainly Ethernet-IP, OPC, CIP protocol) You are a flexible person, able to adapt in a contest of constant change You can proactively organize your time and activities to get things done What’s in it for you have a glimpse of some of the benefits you will enjoy as a successful candidate: Access to our cutting-edge learning platform, Leonardo, and personalized development programs to help you grow professionally and personally.
