About the job
At Ocarius, we help brands, communities, and organizations create custom merchandise that people actually want to wear.
We take care of the whole process — from the initial idea and product selection to design, production, and delivery — with a strong focus on quality, aesthetics, and reliability.
As we grow, we’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join the team remotely and help us turn client ideas into great-looking, production-ready designs.
Your role
As a Graphic Designer at Ocarius, you’ll work across both client projects and our own content.
A big part of your role will be creating product mockups for incoming orders, adapting existing logos and graphics, and helping clients visualize their ideas before production.
You’ll work closely with our Sales and Operations teams, as well as with our Social Media Manager for Ocarius’ own visual content.
The role is hands-on, flexible, and ideal for someone who enjoys turning rough ideas into clean, polished visuals.
What you’ll do
- Create realistic product mockups for client orders.
- Adapt logos and graphics to different garments, products, placements, and dimensions when needed.
- Convert logos and other artwork into vector formats when needed.
- Create simple logo concepts or design proposals when a client has an idea but no finished visual yet.
- Prepare print-ready and production-ready files for printing, embroidery, and other customization techniques.
- Check client-provided files and make sure they are suitable for production.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure designs are technically feasible.
- Work with the Social Media Manager to create graphics and visual assets for posts and campaigns.
- Keep mockups, templates, logos, and other design assets organized.
- Occasionally support other visual materials such as catalogues, presentations, or website graphics.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in digital graphic design and a portfolio showing your work.
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Illustrator or similar vector-design software.
- Good understanding of vector graphics and experience working with or vectorizing logos.
- Experience creating product, apparel, or merchandise mockups.
- Good knowledge of Photoshop or similar image-editing software.
- Familiarity with common design formats such as AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, PNG, and PSD.
- Basic understanding of preparing artwork for print and production.
- A good eye for typography, composition, proportions, and visual detail.
- Ability to take a rough brief or idea and turn it into a clear visual concept.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Comfortable communicating and collaborating with a remote team.
- Good working proficiency in English and/or Italian.
A formal design degree is not required — we care much more about your skills, portfolio, and ability to get things done.
Why join us?
Ocarius is still a small and growing team, which means you’ll have a lot of visibility into how the business works and a real influence on how we develop our visual identity and design processes.
You’ll work on a wide variety of projects, from client merchandise to social content, and have the freedom to bring your own ideas to the table.
We’re looking for someone proactive, reliable, and excited to grow with the company rather than simply execute tasks.
