- Plan and deliver engaging and rigorous English lessons aligned with the Cambridge Lower Secondary English framework.




- Develop students’ skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and literary analysis, with a strong focus on academic language.
- Prepare students effectively for internal assessments and Cambridge checkpoint-style tasks where applicable.
- Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, including bilingual and international students.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress using formative and summative assessment practices aligned with Cambridge standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum coherence, progression, and consistency across year groups.
- Contribute to curriculum development, departmental planning, and the wider academic life of the school.
- Participate actively in school life, including meetings, professional development, events, and communication with parents.
