About EU Policy Insight

EU Policy Insight is an independent cultural association producing accessible analysis and commentary on EU digital policy. We translate complex regulatory developments into clear, well-sourced writing for a broad audience of practitioners, students, and interested readers.

The role
We're looking for volunteer contributors to research and write short analytical pieces on EU digital policy. You'll pick topics that interest you, work with an editor on framing, and publish under your own name.
Topics we cover include:
The digital euro and EU payments regulation
AI regulation and the AI Act
Data governance, the Data Act, and data intermediation
Platform regulation (DSA, DMA)
Digital sovereignty and cybersecurity policy

Who we're looking for
Master's or PhD candidates (or recent graduates) in law, political science, economics,



public policy, or a related field
Strong research skills and comfort working with primary sources: EU legislation, Commission documents, ECB and regulator publications
Ability to write clearly in English for a non-specialist audience
Genuine interest in EU digital policy
