The company develops and operates wind, solar, battery energy storage and is looking to strengthen its technical team with a Senior Project Engineer based in Milan.
/ppThis is a strategic position, offering the opportunity to be the primary technical point of contact for renewable energy projects, supporting development from feasibility and permitting through to construction.
/ph3Key Responsibilities /h3pstrongProject Development /strong /pulliConduct site assessments and constraints analysis.
/liliSupport layout design and energy yield calculations.
/liliPrepare permitting documentation and liaise with regulatory authorities.
/liliProvide engineering support to achieve timely permitting.
/liliManage specific work packages in support of the development team.
/liliCollaborate with internal competence centers for wind, PV, and BESS optimization.
/liliEnsure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
/liliCoordinate third-party technical contracts and consultants.
/liliSupport MET campaigns and wind resource analysis.
/li /ulpstrongGrid Connection /strong /pulliIdentify and design technical solutions for grid connections.
/liliCoordinate grid connection processes with DSOs/TSOs, from preliminary requests to physical connection.
/liliManage technical and administrative aspects of grid integration.




/li /ulpstrongConstruction Support /strong /pulliSupervise executive design and technical specifications.
/liliLiaise with equipment and service providers.
/liliProvide engineering support for equipment selection.
/liliSupport construction monitoring and progress tracking.
/li /ulh3Candidate Profile /h3pstrongEducation Experience /strong /pulliUniversity degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
/liliMinimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy projects, preferably wind and solar.
/liliExperience with project management and energy modeling tools (e.g., PVSyst, WindPro).
/liliFamiliarity with Italian regulatory standards and permitting processes.
/liliKnowledge of solar PV system design and grid integration.
/liliStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
/liliAbility to manage cross-functional teams and complex project timelines.
/liliExcellent communication, negotiation, and reporting skills.
/liliDetail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
/liliFluent in Italian and English.
/liliWillingness to travel occasionally within Italy.
