As Manager of the Charging Functions Software team, your main goal will be to drive the development and evolution of charging functions and firmware across Alpitronic’s Hypercharger product portfolio. In this role, you will lead and grow a team of experts, define the technical roadmap, and ensure the successful delivery of innovative and reliable charging solutions. You will coordinate closely with Product Management, System Engineering, Hardware and Quality teams to align product requirements, technical developments, and customer expectations. Your responsibilities also include fostering technical excellence, optimizing development processes, and supporting the long-term growth of both the team and the technology. Strengthen and further develop the organisation of the Charging Functions Software team Manage hiring activities, employee development, training, coaching and mentoring Define, develop and monitor the technical product roadmap for charging functions and firmware, aligning it with the overall product strategy Align regulatory, standardisation and customer requirements with internal and external stakeholders Identify and drive continuous improvements in processes, methodologies and development practices to enhance efficiency and quality Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to address technical enquiries and resolve issues in the field Support technical decision-making and contribute to strategic product development initiatives Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in the development of embedded software and firmware Degree in Computer Science,



Software Engineering or a related field Professional experience in embedded software and firmware development using C/C++ Good knowledge of EV charging standards and communication protocols Experience with agile methodologies and structured software development lifecycles Strong understanding of complex organisational structures and cross-functional collaboration Proven experience in leading or acting as a technical reference for engineering teams Strong people leadership, coaching and mentoring skills, combined with empathy and emotional intelligence Excellent decision-making abilities and a passion for innovation Adaptability to changing priorities and requirements, with a willingness to learn new technologies quickly Fluent in English, Italian and/or German is considered a plus Innovative work environment in a young, dynamic team High-tech projects in the future-proof sector of e-mobility A wide range of further training opportunities Total compensation starting from € 74,000 gross per year, including a 30% variable premio based on goal achievement Additional company benefits Final compensation may vary based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the scope of responsibilities.
