We are seeking a friendly, professional and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Hostel Receptionist. As a Hostel Receptionist, you will be the face of our hostel and the first point of contact for our guests. **Responsibilities**: - Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests, ensuring accuracy of information and room assignments
- Assist guests with information about the hostel, local area and tourist attractions
- Manage reservations and cancellations, ensuring accurate records are kept
- Handle cash and credit card payments, and perform end-of-day cash reconciliations
- Maintain a clean and tidy reception area, and ensure supplies are stocked
- Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure that all guest rooms are clean and ready for occupancy
- Handle guest complaints and escalate any issues to the relevant departments
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of the hostel **Requirements**: - Proven experience as a receptionist or customer service representative, preferably in the hospitality industry




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of reservation and front office systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
