- Ensure clearance and handling tariffs for all destinations are obtained and correct
- Negotiates rates where possible with port agents/custom brokers
- Reviews options to improve local handling and clearing procedures
- Create and implement procedures to limit risk and simplify clearance operations Review cost received from agents and customs brokers to check for correctness that cost are indeed for logistics matching rate sheets
provided with correct back ups
- Responsible for obtaining detailed information on limitations and specificities of shipping to all destinations on the loading schedules
- Creates purchase orders and controls invoices for all clearance charges in relation to all shipments involving destination handling as per compliance standards Ensures compliance with anti-bribery
FCPA Responsible for coordination
monitoring and internal billing and external invoices for all airfreight shipments
- Obtains airfreight quotes and up to 5000USD has approval rights for quotes
- Can approve PO’s up to 20000USD
- Assisting in defining the financial budget of the Logistics Department for clearance & handling & airfreight




- Responsible for monthly accruals for clearance & handling & airfreight
- Support logistics department where needed with other tasks
- Manages the remote responsibilities assigned to TCS **QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION**
- Minimum of 2years (marine and/or hotel) supply chain or logistics background
- Sailing experience is a bonus
- Masters or Bachelor in a service and/or logistics related field
- Strategic thinker
- Understanding of the bigger picture
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational and leadership skills
- Good communicator Fidelio experienced user
