Offer Description
The research activity will be carried out within the FIS2 CARE-PD project (FIS-2023-03676) and will focus on investigating the molecular and functional mechanisms through which the cerebellum contributes to Parkinson's disease progression. The research program will involve experimental models of synucleinopathy and integrated approaches including electrophysiological techniques,
moleular and morphological analyses, investigation of dopaminergic neurotransmission and behavioral assessments.
The activity will also include the evaluation of non-invasive neuromodulation approaches based on transcranial magnetic stimulation to assess functional recovery of neuronal circuits affected by the disease.
The selections are open to candidates, Italian or foreigner, in possession, on the date of the deadline for submitting applications for the admission to the selection, of a research doctorate (PhD) or equivalent qualification obtained abroad, or, for the sectors concerned, a medical specialization qualification. The educational qualification has to concern the research theme.
