Automation Engineer

A leading global logistics and technology company is looking for a technical professional to join the engineering team in Torrazza Piemonte. The successful candidate will ensure that automated systems operate at peak efficiency to maintain high productivity levels across the site.

What you'll be doing

• Monitor core systems to identify and resolve critical technical issues and bottlenecks.

• Collaborate with international teams to track metrics for material handling equipment.

• Provide internal stakeholders with data visualizations and reports for troubleshooting.

• Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects for automated control networks.

• Manage system documentation, backup archives, and the commissioning of new equipment.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in maintaining and troubleshooting automated industrial systems.





• Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings and complex electrical schematics.

• Knowledge of programming standards in accordance with IEC 61131-3.

• Ability to train technical teams on device troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate sensor data and control system performance.
