LoJack is looking for a candidate for the position of Software Developer to be part of our European Engineering Software group.
The candidate will take care of the development of software applications across Europe, related to the LoJack business units ensuring high customer satisfaction.
This role will be based in Milan, but will include need to travel in Europe, especially London, to work with current software team.
Responsibilities
Maintenance and upgrade of existing software
Investigate and fix any bugs found within the existing software applications
Working closely with the teams in both the UK and Italy
Strive to deliver software projects to time and in budget
Establish and maintain professional relationships with all internal and external customers
Provide technical support to users within the business in a timely fashion
Must Have
Diploma in computer science or bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering




Good knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
At least four years of experience as a front-end web applications developer
Highly skilled in:
Angular (13+)
Restful WEBAPI calls
Javascript/Typescript
Jquery
HTML5+
CSS3+ (also basic)
Secure by Design
Working Knowledge of:
React
Bootstrap
Git and tools
Test driven development and mocking tools
.Net Framework
LLM uses within software engineering
Proactive approach with the ability to use their own initiatives to improve the software solutions
Ability to work on their own and as part of a team across Europe and the UK
Excellent ability to analyse problems then propose and discuss any possible solutions
Good English speaking skills
