SAP PLM Lead Consultant

We are supporting an international manufacturing organization on a major
cloud-based PLM transformation
and are seeking an experienced
SAP PLM Lead Consultant
to join the programme.
This is a senior role suited to a consultant with strong functional PLM knowledge, prior project leadership exposure, and the ability to operate across international stakeholder groups in a complex multi-site environment.
Role Overview
The successful consultant will take a leading role in the delivery of a
Product Lifecycle Management transformation
within a discrete manufacturing environment.
The programme is being rolled out across multiple international locations and includes integration points into engineering and design-related systems.
The assignment will focus on supporting the PLM solution design and deployment, helping to drive alignment across business and technical teams, and ensuring effective delivery through key project stages,



including preparation for go-live and post-go-live transition.
Key Requirements
4-8 years of relevant PLM experience
, with a clearly
senior-level profile
Strong background in
SAP PLM
Good understanding of
BOM management
, product structures, and engineering-related processes
Previous exposure to
project leadership
or coordination responsibilities
Experience working with
cloud-based PLM environments
Knowledge of
ECTR / engineering control integration
Exposure to
CAD integration projects
Basic understanding of
CAD tools
and their relationship with PLM processes
Ability to discuss and assess PLM platforms in the broader market, including exposure to solutions such as:
SAP PLM
PTC Windchill
Siemens Teamcenter
Comfortable working in an international programme involving multiple business units and geographies
Strong stakeholder management and communication capability
