**Summary**:
This position is located at the **Strike Zone Bowling Center, Vicenza.** **This job is open to**:

U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. US resident alien family members of US sponsors who are citizens of NATO countries other than the host nation and possess a valid green card and US Social Security Number (SSN). **Duties**: - Assist the Business Manager (Food Service) in directing the operations and supervision of multiple food service facilities. Recommends and enforces operating procedures.
- Conducts surveys, reviews activity reports, and makes recommendations concerning services, promotion activities, and revenue improvements.
- Assist Business Manager in the selection of the employees and in training new employees to work situations, compliance with health and safety standards, and proper use of storage tools and equipment.
- Supervises assigned staff. Completes cash reports, and makes daily deposits.
- Performs other related duties as assigned. **Requirements**:

- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
- This position may require a health screening. Immunizations may be required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.
- Duty hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Rotating Schedule.
- The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American Standards Institute accredited agency is required. **Qualifications**:
1. Work experience directly related to the duties to be performed. Demonstrated work experience must be equivalent in complexity and difficulty to the next lower pay level.
2. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, stressful environment.
3. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Possess a certificate for sanitation in food service or have the ability to obtain the certificate within the three months of employment **Best Qualified Criteria**:

**PCS Costs**
- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs **may** be authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move may be in the Government's interest. **Pay-Band Allowances and Differential**s
- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. **_If authorized, only regular (full-time, tempo parziale, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay._** Sunday premium may be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). - Allowances, differentials, or incentives will not be paid. LQA is not authorized.
