With an established presence across Italy and Europe and continued growth, you will be joining a dynamic international team delivering expert advice to developers, operators, lenders and investors across large-scale solar projects.
/p h3What You Will Be Doing /h3 pYour work will be focused primarily on technical and commercial consultancy services for utility-scale solar photovoltaic projects.
You will be advising developers, operators, lenders and investors in the Italian market, as well as supporting projects across other European countries.
/p pSpecific activities will include: /p ul liBusiness development within the solar sector, building client relationships and helping to win new work.
/li liLeading technical and commercial due diligence for utility-scale solar projects and portfolios, acting as Project Director, Project Manager and technical lead where required.
/li liAssessing technical and commercial risks that could impact project performance, financial models, project timelines, CAPEX and OPEX, while proposing suitable mitigation measures.
/li liReviewing key project areas including grid connection, land agreements, permitting, environmental constraints, project design, construction strategy, operational contracts and project schedules.
/li liDelivering bespoke Owner's Engineer services for solar projects.
/li liSupporting strategic industry initiatives and contributing to working groups and sector activities.
/li liManaging multiple projects while coordinating internal and external resources.

/p h3Essential Skills Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or another relevant technical discipline.
/li libMinimum 8–10 years' experience /b within renewable energy consultancy, with a strong focus on utility scale solar.
/li liExtensive experience leading technical due diligence across utility-scale solar projects.
/li liStrong understanding of solar project development, grid connection, permitting, environmental considerations and construction processes.
/li liExperience reviewing EPC, OM and other renewable energy construction and operation contracts.
/li liAbility to assess technical risks and understand their commercial implications across project financing and investment transactions.
/li liProven track record of building and maintaining long?term client relationships and contributing to business development.
/li liExcellent consultancy skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high?quality work to tight deadlines.
/li liStrong report writing and communication skills in English.
/li liWillingness to travel as required.
/li liSelf?motivated with the ability to work independently in a client?focused consulting environment.
/li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liOwner's Engineer, construction monitoring or asset management experience within utility-scale solar.
